Family Kids Photography

It is a growing up record for the kids, and it is also one for the family. This is the record for the Tang family whom I have served the last three rounds since I did the newborn photography for their little angel.

It is amazing to have some records here and there to remember the time that you have together. And this is one of the reasons why families hire photographers to have their photographs taken. It goes down to the basics of having an annual record.

Just a simple update, hope you would loved it too!

Kids Photography

This is the second part for the Thiemens family after we photograph Little Riley. There are some usual portraits, and some fun-filled photos with the siblings taking a splash in their pool!

Well, my favorites are definitely the ones we had at the pool. It is much more memorable to me because you get to see the kids laughing and taking huge dips. To add on, their kids are really fun, friendly and warm up easily.

It takes a little  time to warm up with kids even though there’s many articles that tell you how easy it is to get started. With different families, it works differently as well. Children we worked with range from age between 2 to 10 years of age, and it doesn’t get any easier with the grown ups. This has nothing to do with our understandings and lingo; more naturally it is your child’s personality, their daily activities and the environment you gave them.

As kids photographer, our observations are important because we need to wait for the kids to be ready. It is about setting a comfortable stage for them to work with us and different kids take situations differently as well. To make a session work well, we got to be bigger kids, lead them into the fun and make them smile.

This is also why it is rewarding to be a kids photographer!

Outdoor Children Photography

Outdoor Children Photography | Do children photography when they are outdoor!

The one thing which I find beautiful about children is the inquisitive nature when they are outdoor, exploring their own world. This is also the best time to rest your mind and see the intrinsic traits of your children.

While most kids may look active on the outside, they behave differently. Some children are naturally confident to take the world on their own, while others may prefer to observe before joining any fun. So whichever it is, keep photographing them because it is part of a childhood story.

Children Photography is really about preserving their traits, behaviors and looks when they are out in their world. This is the best gift for them and the best way to remember them.

Children photography is about getting dirty and sweaty!

Fun children photography always lead to getting dirty and sweaty!

It’s outdoor, getting dirty and sweaty. Probably a 1/10 chance of landing a hard fall which may causes some bruises here and there. And if you have phobia of seeing blood, you might just land yourself in a heat concussion not knowing what to do next.

And guess what, children don’t bother all these! Space is a freedom of expression. It’s a way to show their personalities, tell you who they are and what they are capable of doing. Likewise, this is also the best time to bond with them, guide them and toughen their physics in outdoor conditions. I know how that feels for most of us who sit in the office for eight hours, and going out under the sun is something that’s extraordinary unpleasant!

But if you look at the brighter side, going for outdoor activities once a while could be a form of unlocking that mind to allow better concentration in your work. Yes, I am not kidding here, for regular joggers, you should know what I am talking about. It helps you focus better when you sweat it out.

Outdoor children photography is a continuous record of their childhood and the gift of the time which will be given to them as memories. It is also a good way to preserve some family shots during the session. And they are never the same given the way they were brought up. Some pick up everything they see on the floor, some started poking into the soil, and some started plucking the greenies. Your child’s personality is unique on its own, and it could be you in your younger days.

Worth or not, it’s a choice. We can only tell when time fade on it’s own. But it is definitely invaluable as we look back at what we have preserved from the past with what we have now.
